Monetary Donations

Share-A-Gift is an all-volunteer annual holiday project that provides toys, bikes and books for the children of less fortunate families in the Boulder Valley School District (Colorado).  Each year between 1500 and 2000 girls and boys, birth to age 14, receive these community donations.

Our organization has NO paid staff. Monetary donations are used, as needed, to purchase toys, supplies – such as boxes, tape, and batteries, and cover expenses of running the Share-A-Gift toy distribution.

Donations must be received generally by December 12th to be used in this Share-A-Gift season. Letters acknowledging receipt of monetary donations are sent in early January for the previous year (after our Toy Shop ends and our Treasurer has had a rest).  Donations must be postmarked by December 31st for tax credit in this calendar year.
