Volunteers Still Needed for Toy Shop Distribution Day

Share-A-Gift has filled it’s need for volunteers during the Toy Shop Setup Days, but we still have plenty of spaces (and need) for volunteers on the AFTERNOON of our Toy Distribution.   On this one single day, this year

Saturday, December 17

parents of families-in-need leave their children with childcare, and come  ”shop” and select donated toys for their children, given free-of-charge.

Volunteers age 15 or above are needed to help at registration and checkout, to help with traffic and crowd flow,  to serve as shopping assistants in helping parents find just the right toys for their children,  and to help take toys to the parents’ cars.

Spanish (bi-lingual++) speakers are particularly helpful!

Unfortunately, we do not allow children under 15 years old to volunteer on this day of the Toy Shop Distribution.  We do ask that volunteers that help distribute toys be at least 15 years old because we give toys to kids with ages birth through 14 years old.

This is our most rewarding opportunity to help families-in-need.  Volunteers are encouraged to sign up for morning or afternoon shifts with our Volunteer Coordinator (signup on our registration page).
