Volunteers are a critical need for Share–A–Gift to run its ‘Toy Shop’ when we distribute donated children’s gifts to low-income families in need of holiday assistance.

We hope that you and your families (and possibly your business, co-workers, association, or service club) will help us with a few hours to brighten the Holidays for others – and perhaps for yourself as well.

   Toy Distribution

On Saturday, our clients are invited to choose gifts for their children at one of the 2 shop sessions. Volunteers are needed for check-in and check-out, to assist clients with toy selection, and to provide help getting toys to cars. Spanish/Bilingual speakers are especially welcome. Over 100 volunteers are needed for each shop session, and help is also needed between sessions for re-stocking toys.

Volunteers are asked to arrive promptly before their shift and to stay for their entire session. The first 30 minutes of each session are for Share–A–Gift volunteer orientation.

SORRY – NO CHILDREN under the age of 16 (volunteer or client) are permitted in the Toy Shop on Distribution Day while our clients are choosing gifts. Please consider volunteering with your children on Toy Shop Setup days – kids are really helpful in sorting toys that belong together and matching pieces!
